Dual Channel Detectors

The PD230 range of dual channel inductive loop vehicle detectors is manufactured in a popular miniature housing for DIN rail relay base mounting and shelf mounting. Available in many unique variations, including power-fail options, the PD230 range of detectors may be used in almost any application.

 APPLICATIONS

Parking barrier control
Vehicle access control
Motorized gates and doors
Accurate direction counting

Features:

Compact Size:

Miniature housing that saves space in newer compact equipment designs. The light-weight design makes it possible to plug the unit directly into a DIN rail compatible socket.

Flexibility:

A front panel switch provides many user selected functions. Channel multiplex circuitry eliminates crosstalk interference between the two loops connected to this detector, regardless of the proximity of the loops to each other.

Automatic Sensitivity Boost  (ASB):

This function allows for increased sensitivity under all conditions. Enabled, it allows reliable detection of large truck / trailer combinations. Disabled, it reduces the risk of tail-gating of vehicles.

A-B Logic:

Internal selection of A-B logic option to configure the detector in direction logic mode. In this mode the output relays give separate outputs depending on vehicle direction.

Visual fault monitor:

A fault indication is provided in the event of the loop input becoming faulty, or alternatively if the loop is out of the operational range. This feature will help in localising the fault in the event of a maintenance call-out.

Diagnostic Capabilities:

This unit allows comprehensive diagnostics capabilities in conjunction with separate DU100 hand held diagnostics readout. Advanced diagnostics features are covered by S.A PAT APPLN 93/5634.
